I wanted to feel the Halloween mood so much this year.. but the atmosphere is just not the right one. I keep being busy and having absurdly tiring days (especially thanks to the public transports here ........ OTL ;;;; ), and I'm also having the yearly con I usually attend to in a couple of days so.. my Halloween is going to be pretty much about anime, manga and cosplay LOL;;

I came back tired today that I couldn't keep up doing my homeworks until late.. so I ended up quickly doodling and then coloring this intead:

It's a very creepy Max in an Halloween setting ~

I don't think I'll be able to update tomorrow (thing to get ready for leaving and homeworks to finish), I'll be back on the 3rd but then my busy schedule will be even worse.. (that kind of makes me depressed about leaving orz).
See you when circumstances are easier for me!

Small dump
Homeworks are literelly killing me.. and it's just been two weeks of school. They're going to be a lot more once we start working "seriously" and.. I'm pretty scared. I know I have to endure it if I want to get better tho, so I better hold on.

I menaged to finish the homeworks I had for tomorrow tho! It was a very painful job drawing all those creepy skeletons.. but I guess they made a good Halloween atmosphere? lol

Dumping something I menaged to draw regardless of homeworks, like this quickie for Spirit Day.

The first thing that came up in my mind when I had to draw something related to purple was Mitsunari. Maybe it's because I'm in a Basara mood lately. And I just love these two so bad ♥

I was also just working on a wip from September, it's going to be a pretty big thing compared to my usual stuff so.. I wonder when I'll finish it with my limited amount of time.

This is about 1/3 of the whole pic lol

Oh and I don't remember when I sketched this, but I gotta be a few weeks ago.. I think. I doodled a lot of child Lucas then, I'm probably going to dump them next time though.

It's been just two weeks of school and I've already got so many homeworks! Having to draw skeletons is especially driving me crazy OTL

gfdafdh.jpg gfdgdklj.jpg

These are dumb sketches from class, but I have to draw a detailed skeleton (front and back) on a A3 sheet, and 3 more kid skeletons on sketch paper /cries
I need to have them ready for Thursday.. and I barely drew the big one.

Furthermore, I have to draw an axonometric church and two axonometric detailed scenarios for Saturday.. and I also have to find references for them..

I'm also going to leave on Saturday for a con and I'm still totally not ready. When I'll get back from the con I'll have to rush to driving school to take the theory exam (I still need to take some lessons OTL), and I can't even go to my friend's b-day on the 2nd...

I also have blood exams tomorrow T v T

I'm seriously not going to survive these two weeks.

Art school
Time to write about my first day in comic school yesterday. I was very tired when I got back and went straight to bed, so I couldn't write about anything sooner.

First of all, this art school is in Rome, about 200/300 km from the town I live in. The train I take in the morning leaves at 7:50 a.m. and get there in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Lesson start at 10 a.m. and last for 3 hrs, with a little break halfthrought it.
I got at the school 15 mins earlier, and I was so excited and anxious I could barely stand.
At first I was surprised at the amount of people out there.. there were so many youngsters like me and for a moment I thought they were all in my same class. When we got inside I realized most of them were in the Graphic, and Animation and Illustration classes. Students for the Comic class were divided in two groups. The are four total groups for Comic, but at couples on different days.
There are 18 students in my group~ only 3 of them live in Rome. Most of us come from far away, even further than me. I was also surprised that, alike me, some graduated in Scientific High Schools. Also we're half boys and half girls, maybe a little more boys I think.
Our techer is a comic artist who worked for a long time in a very famous Italian editing company. He made a TRULY good impression on me.. he's very professional, calm and intelligent. And he's also very funny. He looked awesome, and I hope he can teach me a lot in his future lessons. And by the way, he's name is Rodolfo Torti, you might find some of his works if you google his name!
My other teacher is named Bruno Letizia, he's also a comic artist and seems to be very young (in his thirties!). I still haven't meet him but I'm going to tomorrow, on my second day~

I didn't really have the chance to talk with my new companions.. nor to see how they draw.. I hope I will be able to know them better from now on. I'm actually too shy to do it.

I befriended two girl who live in the same region as me.. but I barely taked with anyone else..

The school gives every student his own huge bag for tools.. here's mine. I'm so proud of it hurr

And the sketchbook that was inside the bag! There were a pencil and an eraser too, but they're just.. normal.

Inside there was this magazine too, its quality is really something! And the comics inside are all made by pros.
But it's also freaking expensive, so I don't think I'll buy next issues OTL

Oh this is a prev from the comic page we had to draw during our first lesson so that the teacher could see what level everyone's at.

I was very blank about what to draw OTL
I have serious communication problems with comics too.. need to get better on that.

Right know it's about midnight and there is a lot of people outside my house waiting to shoot fireworks to celebrate a near town's Madonna, reason: my mother restored an old and simbolic mantle that's used in this Madonna's church and it's quite significant for the people of this town.
So I'm just going to enjoy fireworks before going to bed for my next lesson tomorrow~

Romix 2010 part 2
Sorry for the delay! I was still waiting for a friend's pics but she never sent them to me in the end OTL

Here are the most relevant pictures from the last convention! Some pics are from Glac and Aniki.

Let's start from the Riyoko Ikeda interview on Saturday. Glac took these pictures~
This is the Versailles no Bara themed musical they gave for her. I didn't have the chance to see it but they told me it was very beautiful and heartbreaking,

Then here's a picture of her!

romix14.jpg romix03.jpg
She's truly beautiful, and doesn't look old at all!

Another very funny and new fact about this year was that some funny guys very going around shouting "CONGA!" and having people join them for a human-train.

A music-themed magazine had some clean paper walls to draw upon, and they offered a free copy of the new issue if you drew something on it. The wall was almost clean when we found it. OF COURSE, we didn't think about it twice and, as good serial trolls as we are already, we trolled it good.

These were done by Glac~ a chibi of herself on the right and a Horito Lopez on the left. When I went back to the wall later in the afteroon, I found someone had colored Glac's hair blue lol.

THE SHOUJO FACE OF DOOM. It was there before and me and aniki drew a Motonari and a Chosukabe on its sides to not have it feel ronery. (the very gay Chousukabe is my fault, of course).

And an awkwardly-drawn Max. And my arm. And the wonderful pink-colored marker I picked.

Now time for some gorgeous cosplays!

Sailor Moon's Luna.

Kazu from Air Gear (he's my favorite character he he) he was going around in roller-blades and I met him more than once hurr ^ q ^

A human-sized Chocobo!

I'M A BANANA- NO I MEAN HE IS-- and I just noticed the creepy hairy dude behind him.

And Pacman~

And now a very gorgeous Nero cosplayer.. I don't know how he even menaged to enter the gate with that huge demon-thing. His clothes were extremely detailed and well-done (he's wearing actual leather) he also had intense blue eye-lenses that made him very IMPRESSING.

And now a special mention for the Inazuma group that was there on Sunday~ (they were there on Saturday too, but they were cosplaying Air Gear then).
He's a pic of the six of them! They were really nice, can't wait to meet them again in next convention!

And a solo pic of Fubuki because Glac literally had a boner for him- We were pretty shocked when we heard he was just 15! (all of the other member are over-20)

Here's pic of us together~

Nel is the Inazuma Japan Tachimukai, Mimi's Fideo and well.. you can guess who that Max is lmao

Here's a better picture of Tachimukai~

And the Jesus waiting for us at the gate when we left the con on Sunday.

There was a very pretty sunset on that day~ I was delighted at the sight ♥

So.. that's all for this convention. I have a big one in about two weeks, I'm getting so excited this year.
Because next con is going to have a better landscape, our cosplay pictures will look a lot better and I'm waiting for then to post them.

For now, you can have this ♥

Romix 2010 part 1
I've been to a big convention last weekend and got back yesterday~
Although it wasn't like the previous years, and we were feeling a bit down for the changes they've made and the people that were missing, I had fun. I got to meet some online friends and I got to know new people too.. so in the end, it was worth it.

I also had the chance so see Riyoko Ikeda! She looks like she's a wonderful and very interesting person, the things she said in her interview were very inspiring~
I actually didn't listen to the whole interview and didn't see the Versailles no Bara musical they gave for her because I spent my time with a friend on Saturday afternoon.

It was nice to have people recognize me in cosplay and ask for pictures (I was so flattered.. it's probably because it's the first time I cosplay a character I really like aww). There was also a group of mostly MALE Inazuma cosplayers (yeah) and we became friends. They were nice~ and we're gonna meet again in the next convention!

Sunday was a bit of a messy day.. too many people came and the transports weren't enough, the lines to enter were also very long OTL (we also got there late because we went to Mimi's house before). Getting back home was even a lot messier.. the train was too full. We got home around 10:30 pm.

I want to collect all the pictures we made before posting them, I'm gonna write a second post about Romix as soon as I get them from Glacmer.

As for now, I can only show what I got from this con, not much stuff since I'm not really interested in what they sell, I just get what looks interesting~

A Gauche Suede keychain~ I was surprised to find something from Letter Bee! Too bad there was no Zazie or Jiggy Pepper, I would like to have them too.

A duck that can be hanged on mirrors/glass! I couldn't help it, it was too cute ♥

These badges were huge and very cheap! And they're design is cool~
I got them from a stand of a new friend who's a great artist and who's drawing BL manga for a publishing company.

And that's all I got! Cosplay and other pictures are coming in the next post~

Oh and since I haven't be dumping much art lately, this is something I sketches on the train on my way home yesterday:
